Writer Debra Moffitt has published essays in Slate, The Washington Post, the Miami Herald and several literary journals. She’s the author of The Pink Locker Society, a middle grade book series published by Macmillan. A former journalist and a novice gardener, she writes from Delaware and is a frequent visitor at the Mt. Cuba Center and the gardens of Winterthur.
